The Amelia Island Chamber Music Festival is preparing for its 22nd season with what promises to be an exceptional lineup of chamber music and other musical genres starting this winter. The Festival is a not-for-profit organization whose mission includes presenting the world’s greatest musical artists in chamber music concerts of classical and alternative genres, to offer musical education for students, and to promote local businesses and tourism by attracting music lovers to our area.

“We are very grateful that WestRock, one of our longtime sponsors, is continuing its ongoing support of the Festival with a generous donation,” said Anne Coonrod, President of the Amelia Island Chamber Music Festival. ” We could not bring the exceptional caliber of performers to the Island without the generous support of our sponsors, patrons, donors, volunteers, and concert attendees,” added Ms. Coonrod.

As work gets underway for the 22nd season, the Festival has announced its Board of Directors. In addition to Anne Coonrod assuming the role of President, the Executive Board leadership is comprised of Irene Sanchez, Vice President, Barbara Alleva Gant, Secretary, and Kathleen Minder, Treasurer. New to the Board-at-Large this year is Lauren Templeton, who previously chaired the Young Patrons committee. Continuing to serve on the Board are Emma Mills Bledsoe (Past President), Sue Braddock, Marsha Joyner, Sharon Lennon, Tom Pippin, Vicki Whittemore and Hugh Williams. Eric Sakurai continues as Executive Director.
