With more than 83 million YouTube views, piano virtuoso Valentine Lisitsa is one of the most watched classical musicians on the internet. An Amelia Island favorite, Valentina is at ease with a vast repertoire, ranging from Bach and Mozart to Shostakovich and Bernstein. Her orchestral repertoire, alone, includes more than 40 concertos. Valentina has a particular love for Rachmaninov and Beethoven. Born in Kiev, Ukraine in 1973, she began playing piano at the age of three, gave her first solo recital a year later and studied at the Kiev Conservatory. Valentina made her New York debut in 1995 at the Mostly Mozart Festival at Lincoln Center and since then has performed extensively in many of the great halls in North and South America, Europe and Asia. (learn more…)
