Amelia Chamber Music Festival
Five-Year Strategic Plan
Executive Summary
The Board of Directors of the Amelia Island Chamber Music Festival developed a strategic plan in 2017 to guide the Festival’s growth and development over the next five years. Through an intensive planning process, a comprehensive range of strategies and tactics was established to achieve the plan’s goals and objectives.
Goals and Objectives
Establish the Festival as a widely-respected chamber music festival in the U.S by:
- Consistently presenting a diverse range of world-class artists aimed at attracting a wide audience from across the Southeast.
- Educating patrons that chamber music encompasses more than traditional classical music.
- Recording five consecutive years of highly successful season kick-off performances.
- Achieving “sell-out success” for 100% of ticketed concerts offered each season.
Ensure the Festival’s financial strength and corporate leadership by:
- Establishing an endowment program sufficient to support its mission.
- Enrolling at least 20 new donors in a Planned Giving program.
- Adopting a succession plan for key positions in the Festival’s organization.
Produce exceptional music education programs for both adults and younger students in collaboration with a variety of community partners by:
- Developing a string music program for youngsters at the Boys & Girls Club of Nassau County.
- Potentially developing a string music program in partnership with Nassau District Schools.
- Providing adult education information at concerts.
